My passion for fabric and sewing started when I was a little girl. I have turned this passion into my full time job since 2013.
Born to be in Fashion
I had design and a love of dressing up in my blood from a young age, creating and curating outfits and fashion shows with friends and family. As an inquisitive pre-teen, I taught myself how to use the sewing machine and knew I was destined for a career in fashion.
History in Fashion design
I graduated from the Cape Town College of Fashion Design in 2012. After graduating, I had six months styling experience at Cosmopolitan magazine. I soon realised I preferred creating the beautiful garments rather than curating beautiful looks to be photographed. I began my own casual-wear label, while also creating and designing onesies and fancy dress. However, my true passion lies in custom-made formal wear and I decided to shift my focus to creating one of a kind, intricate garments that make my clients feel special.
Evening Wear Designer
I specialise in handcrafted wedding, bridesmaids and matric dance dresses. My attention to detail and love for dress making reflects in each unique garment. Together with my team we will work together to fulfill your dress dreams!
My studio, a small wendy house at the back of my childhood home, is based in a residential setting making it easily accessible for clients. I offer a personal service to make all my clients feel comfortable and relaxed and make their custom dress experience one they will never forget.
